The beach at Stone Harbor is incredible! Stone Harbor and Avalon together form seven mile island. If you want to take a long walk on the beach, this is the place. The beach is huge and never gets overcrowded. The town is just the right size with some small taverns, shops, and restaurants. Most of the Stone Harbor rentals are walking distance to the beach. If you are looking for a perfect vacation, Stone Harbor is a great selection. It is very family friendly and in most instances you will not need to leave the island to enjoy your trip. If you desire alternative beach activities (activities other than the standard beach going, dining, and shopping), many other shore towns are only a short drive away.
