Avalon is on the northern end of seven mile island. It shares the island with Stone Harbor. This is one of the best places to be for long walks on the beach since the beach is so long. Avalon has all kinds of typical ocean activities including fishing, boating, and more. Most of the Avalon rentals that you will encounter are recently upgraded homes so you are likely to find all of the latest and greatest amenities in your rental. There is plenty of dining and shopping in the heart of the town. Avalon is also a very short drive from Stone Harbor which has a downtown section with restaurants and dining, a theatre, and shopping.
